St. John The Baptist, Patron Saint of Auto Routes and Road Workers
St. John the Baptist is one of the most well-known Biblical saints. John was the cousin of Jesus, and the last prophet before Jesus' public ministry began. Filled with the Holy Spirit, John preached and prepared the way for his Divine Cousin until his martyrdom at the hands of King Herod. Jesus Himself said in Luke 7:28: "I say to you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John [the Baptist]."
